报告摘要:In this talk, I will introduce the mathematical analysis of metamaterials and explore their applications, including invisibility cloaking and super-resolution imaging. Following this, I will discuss strategies for the effective construction of metamaterials. Specifically, I will present insights from a mathematical perspective on optimal topological-geometric structures and the selection of suitable construction materials.
报告人简介:Dr. Hongjie Li currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Tsinghua University. Before joining Tsinghua, he held the position of Research Assistant Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the Hong Kong Baptist University in 2019. Dr. Li's research spans various domains, including inverse problems, partial differential equations, mathematical materials science, asymptotic and spectral analysis, finite element methods, numerical analysis, and scientific computing.
